Hello, my name is Tirza Dabdoub, vegan holistic pet care specialist and for the past 25+ years I have been serving the New Orleans, Metairie, Kenner area.
Paws On Wheels is owned and operated by myself being one of the first original mobile groomers in the New Orleans/ Metro areas opening in 1999 working in a fully converted bunny bread step van designed and built by myself.
I first started in the pet care industry as a veterinarian technician of over 6 years at a very busy clinic treating animals of all kinds, from zoo animals (lions, monkeys and tigers) to exotics (snakes, river otters, parrots, pot belly pigs and dragons)
I mastered my grooming skills by helping the in store master groomer, then later on, grooming in a very busy iconic pet shop. (Ain’t there no more) I’ve learned a lot about handling, treating and recognizing all kinds of ailments.
After hurricane Katrina wiped my original van in the floods, I built my 2nd van using a new Mercedes sprinter van and worked in her for 15 years. Following many repairs, breakdowns and wear and tear, I recently purchased a brand new, state of the art, professionally built and fully equipped grooming salon on wheels using a Ford chassy and made in the USA!
I love animals and the outdoors and that’s what attracted me to this profession. Today I have a huge demand for my unique services. I use holistic practices using the highest quality holistic non-toxic products. I do believe in conventional practices when absolutely necessary and often times work in conjunction with veterinarians in the help with treatments.
I continue my education on pet care by attending many continuing education fairs. I absolutely love what I do and continue to grow and learn from each and every client that I serve. The future looks bright in this industry and I look foward to meeting you and your best friend.

All fully equipped to keep your furbaby nice and comfortable with climate control A/C and furance, warm water, adjustable electric table, stainless steel bath tub,hydro surge bathing system, led lighting and big windows to keep an eye on things at home.

This state of the art conversion has everything a regular land base grooming salon has and more to make grooming a quick and pleasant experience your dog will love without all the stress, noise or separation anxiety.
Eco Friendly
All products used are high quality environmentally friendly and biodegradable. Penelope is equipped with fresh water tank and her own power source (no need to plug in) needing only a level place to park.
